Deadlift Routine:
This routine is for the beginner to intermediate lifter looking to pack some quick pounds onto his/her deadlift.
It is based on a percentage of your best deadlift for one rep (ORM: one rep max). You can calculate your poundages by simply mulitiplying your max by the required percentage. (For Example: 70% would be .70 X Your max= the weight used). I will set this one up for the hypothetical lifter with a max of 300 lbs.
This is a once a week routine:
Week 1: three sets of 10 with 40%. 120 lbs.
Week 2: three sets of 10 with 50%. 150 pounds.
Week 3: three sets of 10 with 60%. 180 pounds.
Week 4: three sets of five with 70%. 210 pounds.
Week 5: three sets of five with 75%. 225 pounds.
Week 6: three sets of five with 80%. 240 pounds.
Week 7: three sets of three with 85%. 255 pounds.
Week 8: three sets of three with 90 percent. 270 pounds.
Week 9: two sets of two with 95%. 285 pounds.
We 10: one set of two 100%. 300 pounds. PR attempt: 310, 315, 320
